This Product Care / Washing Disclaimer explains how to care for items purchased from Sylk Dynasty on sylkdynasty.com, and clarifies how care-related issues are handled.

1) Follow the Care Label

Each product may include specific care instructions on the garment label and/or product page. Always follow the care label first. If the care label and a general guide conflict, the care label controls.

2) General Care Recommendations (If Not Otherwise Stated)

To help maintain fit, color, and print/embroidery quality, we recommend (where applicable):

  • wash cold
  • wash inside-out
  • use gentle cycle
  • use mild detergent
  • avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
  • hang dry or tumble dry low
  • avoid high heat on prints/graphics
  • do not iron directly on printed areas (if ironing is necessary, use a protective layer)

3) Natural Wear, Fading, and Shrinkage

Some degree of:

  • minor shrinkage,
  • color fading, or
  • fabric texture change

may occur over time, especially with frequent washing, high heat, or improper care. This is normal wear and is not necessarily a defect.

4) Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for caring for the item properly after delivery. Issues caused by:

  • washing/drying at high heat
  • improper detergents or chemicals
  • bleaching
  • ironing on prints
  • improper storage
  • damage after delivery (stains, tears, odors)

are considered customer-related and are not covered as manufacturer defects.

5) Care-Related Issues Are Not Manufacturer Defects

Damage or changes caused by washing/drying/care methods are not manufacturer defects and are not eligible for defect-based remedies under our Refunds & Returns Policy.

6) If You Have a Concern

If you believe your item arrived with a manufacturer defect (prior to washing/wearing), contact us as soon as possible and within 15 days of delivery at contact/support form, including photos/video.
