Preorder / Reserve Terms

Preorder / Reserve Terms

Effective Date: March 9th, 2026 Last Updated: July 2nd, 2026

These Preorder / Reserve Terms (“Reserve Terms”) apply when you place a Reserve order on sylkdynasty.com with Sylk Dynasty (“we,” “us,” “our”). Reserve orders are used when a design sells out during a quarter and we allow customers to reserve units for the next quarter.

By placing a Reserve order, you agree to these Reserve Terms in addition to our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Refunds & Returns Policy, and Cancellation Policy.

1) What a Reserve Order Is

A Reserve order is a delayed-fulfillment purchase placed after an item is out of immediate stock. Reserve orders are intended to ship during the next quarter, alongside the release of the next quarter’s designs.

2) Reserve Ordering Window

Reserve ordering is typically available until one (1) month before the start of the next quarter, unless we close Reserve earlier due to operational limits, production capacity, or supply constraints.

We may limit Reserve quantities per customer and may close Reserve at any time.

3) Fulfillment Timing (Next Quarter)

Reserve orders are expected to ship during the next quarter. Any dates or estimated shipping windows shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Timing may be affected by:

  • production volume and manufacturing timelines
  • supplier delays
  • shipping carrier delays
  • customs processing (international orders)
  • other events outside our control

4) Reserve Guarantee (Within Reservation Period)

Reserved products for the next quarter are guaranteed within the reservation period, subject to:

  • successful payment authorization and fraud screening
  • customer compliance with these policies
  • operational feasibility (including force majeure events)
  • accurate customer information (shipping address, contact info)

If we are unable to fulfill a Reserve order within a reasonable timeframe, we may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, store credit, or refund, subject to applicable law.

5) Cancellations (Cutoff Date)

Reserve orders may be canceled only until one (1) month before the start of the next quarter. After that cutoff, Reserve orders cannot be canceled except where required by applicable law.

What “shipped” means: An order is considered shipped once it has been handed to the carrier or once the carrier has accepted the shipment (including initial label scan/acceptance), whichever happens first.

6) Changes to Reserve Orders

Reserve orders may be eligible for changes (address corrections, size changes, or item changes) until the order ships, subject to feasibility and inventory. We do not guarantee that every change request can be accommodated.

7) Mixed Orders (In-Stock + Reserve)

If your order includes both in-stock and Reserve items, you may be offered a choice at checkout (where available) to:

  • Ship Together (one shipment when all items are ready), or
  • Split Shipping (ship in-stock items first, Reserve items later)

If a shipping choice is not presented at checkout, the order defaults to Ship Together.

Split shipping may involve separate deliveries and may affect delivery timing.

8) Pricing, Taxes, Shipping, Duties

  • Prices, taxes, and shipping fees are calculated at checkout.
  • International orders may be subject to duties/taxes/customs fees imposed by the destination country, which are the customer’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9) Final Sale and Eligible Issues

Reserve orders are final sale except as stated in our Refunds & Returns Policy. We only accept claims under the limited categories and deadlines described there (for example: wrong item sent, manufacturer defect, confirmed transit damage within 15 days of delivery, and wrong sizing exchange rules where applicable).
